Here's a nice article about Craig Ferguson, whose show I love. Craig comes across as more than just a goofball. He is also thoughtful, smart, and genuine. And, yeah, he is a goofball, too. Anyway, it's a nice article, so I thought I'd share. :)







Also, the above videos show Craig's interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. It's amazing to believe that goofball Craig got to interview Archbishop Tutu. I think Craig was the most amazed. I think he did a great job, while still staying true to himself.

This is an old story, I know, but I just had to post on it. Yay! Craig Ferguson is writing his memoirs! I can't wait until the book comes out!

Someone I met on Facebook sent me this article by Craig Ferguson on the death of his father. (Thanks, Annette!) It's a really good read, and I highly recommend it. Some of you might know that the day after Craig Ferguson's father died, he dedicated the entire hour of his show as a tribute to his father. It was beautiful and touching (and Emmy-nominated!).

My favorite part of this article was Craig's list of "5 Moments That Define a Man." Wow. Speechless.

Craig is more than just a funny guy. He's an articulate, thoughtful, sensitive man who never ceases to hold my interest.

I just wish I could meet someone like him that isn't dating a 23-year-old blonde skinny rich person . . . *sigh*

Craig Ferguson of CBS's Late Late Show passed his United States Citizen exam with a perfect score a couple of weeks ago and was sworn in as a U.S. Citizen last Friday. Those of you who watch his show regularly know that this is something really important to Craig and that he's been waiting for it for a long time.

Craig Ferguson is my favorite TV performer right now, and I'm so happy for him!

So, as most of you know, I had a birthday last Thursday. It was a pretty significant one, so I thought I should post some thoughts.

First, I don't mind turning 40. I've been told numerous times that I look much younger. The night before my birthday my co-workers told me that I look like I'm in my late 20's. Sure, I wish that I had spent the day with the love of my life, but, hey, life happens.

Second, what I did. I went out to lunch with Stephen at Louise's Trattoria. I even had dessert. I haven't had dessert since I started going to the nutritionist. I had a nice goat cheese salad and a few bites of a chocolate cake/mousse dessert. YUM! After that, we went to the newly-renovated Griffith Observatory (). It's really nice and clean, and we had a good time. We were supposed to go see Craig Ferguson, but the tapings were cancelled because of the writers' strike. :(

Third, what I'm still doing. Most of you know that I was hoping to do something nice for the residents and day visitors of the Downtown Women's Center ( ). I didn't get as much response as I would have hoped, but I am still very grateful for the response that I did get. I'm still collecting women's clothes until the end of the month, so if you're interested, please let me know.
